About Kris Decker, Commercial Photographer

Considered one of the best Architectural Photographers in the Southeast, Kris Decker is dedicated to creating the best imagery possible for his clients.  With unique angles, professional lighting equipment, and time tested lighting techniques, Kris continually strives to create images that exceed expectations.  Though most well known for his Architectural Photography, Kris is very well rounded in his abilities as a Commercial Photographer.  He likes working with people and has always enjoyed photographing his natural surroundings. 

Kris earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from The University of Montana.  After many years studying and preparing, Kris combined his knowledge of the business world with his passion for photography, opening Firewater Photography in 2006. 

Kris has been a member of the American Society of Media Photographers since 2006.  ASMP is the premiere resource for publication photographers to gain education on industry standards and business ethics.

In 2010, Kris became a member of the Association of Independent Architectural Photographers.  AIAP connects photography buyers with the world’s most talented and respected architectural photographers.

About Monica Decker, Business Manager & Photography Assistant

When she's not assisting Kris at their photo shoots, Monica manages the day to day operations of the business, scheduling photo shoots, handling accounts payable and accounts receivable, and managing Firewater Photography's website.  Monica also handles the company's marketing and the updating of it's social media sites.  Monica earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and enjoys keeping the business organized and on track so that Kris can focus on creating.

Monica also works with Millie Lewis Modeling & Talent Agency in Greenville, SC and Evolution Talent Agency in Charlotte, NC.  She is able to use her knowledge and experience for better planning, styling and staging at Firewater Photography's photo shoots.
